Sollis Health 24/7 Emergency Medical Care and Lifestyle Medicine Specialists of Palm Beach

To ensure patients have access to round-the-clock care, we announce our partnership with Sollis Health, a trusted member-only 24/7 medical concierge service. Sollis Health has facilities located in Palm Beach, New York City, San Francisco and Los Angeles (with outposts in Miami Beach and the Hamptons, with more centers to join soon), designed to handle emergencies, check-ups, and everything in between – with no appointment or wait and direct communication with our medical team.

Preventative Medicine Membership with Optional Urgent Medical Care

With Sollis Health, members have access to medical centers with advanced imaging on-site, unlimited physician visits, telemedicine, lab work, patient advocacy, care navigation, travel medicine, Covid-19 testing and care (including Regeneron), expedited access to specialists, access to at-home care, and VIP services at leading hospitals.

Lifestyle Medicine Specialists of Palm Beach decided to partner with Sollis Health for several reasons, but in particular for their exceptional care to all their members and their availability 24/7 to aide us in taking better care our patients. With our partnership we ensure our patients get the best concierge care not only for their routine medical care that our office provides, but also covering any emergencies or urgent matters that we cannot assist in our Wellington office. This continuity of care is ensured by direct communication with Sollis Doctors. We are notified anytime you are seen by a Sollis Health Provider, whether that is in their center or via a house call visit.

Is the annual fee tax deductible?

You may use your HSA/FSA account to pay for your annual fee. Beyond that, patients are advised to consult with their tax consultant.

How do you perform lab testing?

Laboratory work is performed in the office. Note that the fees associated with the laboratory work are not included in your membership and/or visit fees and are your financial responsibility. You may be able to seek reimbursement through your health insurance. Lifestyle Medicine Specialists can assist you with
requesting pre-authorizations from your health insurer to determine if you have insurance benefits potentially available.

Does Dr. Porrata offer hormone replacement therapy? 

Dr. Claudia Porrata does specialize in Functional Medicine and does offer a six month hormone replacement therapy program. Hormone replacement therapy primarily focuses on the replacement of estrogen that the female body no longer makes after menopause. Hormone therapy is typically administered through a pill and can be used to treat common menopausal symptoms, as well as potentially prevent bone loss and reduce fracture in postmenopausal women. If you have been feeling off for a while now and looking for a solution, Dr. Porrata can help. You're fatigue all the time, you have no sex drive, you're irritable and your hair is falling out. You've been to a few doctors and they've all ran tests, but everything comes back normal. They tell you that it's all in your head or that you're just adjusting to a new chapter in your life. But you know something is wrong, so you keep looking for answers. Finally, you find a doctor who runs some more tests and finds that your hormones are out of whack. Based on a personalized medical plan, Dr. Porrata may start you on hormone therapy and within a few weeks, you feel like yourself again.
