IV Therapy or intravenous therapy describes the method of delivery of fluids into the veins in the body. Through an injection with a syringe or via infusion, IV Therapy delivers nutrients and minerals used to treat various acute and chronic conditions including, but not limited to: migraines, seasonal allergies, viral infections, insomnia, high blood pressure, depression, and neuropathic and chronic pain.

At the office of Lifestyle Medicine Specialists, we provide IV hydration as well as several nutrient infusion formulas, designed for optimal health and wellness. An initial consult with Dr. Porrata is required under a Preventive Medicine visit rate. Additional follow up consults will be scheduled as needed. We do not take walk ins.

How Our Personalized IV Nutrient Therapy Membership Works

Please request a menu of our most current IV nutrient therapy treatments available and make your appointment. The initial consultation will include a complete medical history and current complaint assessment, laboratory work and or other diagnostic testing necessary to determine IV therapy option. IV therapy will not be started without the appropriate prior clinical consultation. Walk-ins are not permitted and require a comprehensive medical consultation with Dr. Claudia Porrata.

If I participate in your Hormone Replacement Therapy Program, will Dr. Porrata act as my primary doctor while receiving treatment?

You should continue seeing your primary care physician as well as any specialists and you should inform all of your treating physicians of the hormone replacement therapy you receive at Lifestyle Medicine Specialists.

Do you sell supplments at your medical office?

Supplements available in office. Note that the fees associated with the nutritional and related supplements sold in the office are not included in the membership and/or visit fees and are your financial responsibility; total pricing for additional items or services will be provided at checkout.

Does Dr. Porrata offer hormone replacement therapy?

Dr. Claudia Porrata does specialize in Functional Medicine and does offer a six month hormone replacement therapy program. Hormone replacement therapy primarily focuses on the replacement of estrogen that the female body no longer makes after menopause. Hormone therapy is typically administered through a pill and can be used to treat common menopausal symptoms, as well as potentially prevent bone loss and reduce fracture in postmenopausal women. If you have been feeling off for a while now and looking for a solution, Dr. Porrata can help. You're fatigue all the time, you have no sex drive, you're irritable and your hair is falling out. You've been to a few doctors and they've all ran tests, but everything comes back normal. They tell you that it's all in your head or that you're just adjusting to a new chapter in your life. But you know something is wrong, so you keep looking for answers. Finally, you find a doctor who runs some more tests and finds that your hormones are out of whack.
