Will a Concierge Primary Care Membership replace my health insurance?
The Concierge Services Membership Program is not health insurance and does not serve as a replacement for your traditional health insurance.

What is involved to be evaluated for Obesity Medicine/Lifestyle Intervention?
We offer 6-month prepaid packages that is paid upon initiation of services and includes the office visits only. Medications and diagnostic tests will be ordered through your insurance. Supplements are highly recommended and are optional however contribute greatly to the high rate of success. Be sure to inquire about additional our additional maintenance program.
What are your normal office hours?
Appointments are generally available Monday through Friday from 8:30 AM to 2:00PM. To schedule an initial evaluation or treatment, please call (561) 318-3727. On occasion, Lifestyle Medicine Specialists may be able to accommodate appointments outside these normal hours.
Is the annual fee tax deductible?
You may use your HSA/FSA account to pay for your annual fee. Beyond that, patients are advised to consult with their tax consultant.
If I participate in your Hormone Replacement Therapy Program, will Dr. Porrata act as my primary doctor while receiving treatment?
You should continue seeing your primary care physician as well as any specialists and you should inform all of your treating physicians of the hormone replacement therapy you receive at Lifestyle Medicine Specialists.
If I am interested in IV Therapy Wellness, do I need to be a member of Lifestyle MD Specialist?
In order to have access to IV Therapy treatment, it is required all participants obtain a consultation with Dr. Claudia Porrata prior to the treatment.
How do you perform lab testing?
Laboratory work is performed in the office. Note that the fees associated with the laboratory work are not included in your membership and/or visit fees and are your financial responsibility. You may be able to seek reimbursement through your health insurance. Lifestyle Medicine Specialists can assist you with
requesting pre-authorizations from your health insurer to determine if you have insurance benefits potentially available.
Does Dr. Porrata offer hormone replacement therapy?
Dr. Claudia Porrata does specialize in Functional Medicine and does offer a six month hormone replacement therapy program. Hormone replacement therapy primarily focuses on the replacement of estrogen that the female body no longer makes after menopause. Hormone therapy is typically administered through a pill and can be used to treat common menopausal symptoms, as well as potentially prevent bone loss and reduce fracture in postmenopausal women. If you have been feeling off for a while now and looking for a solution, Dr. Porrata can help. You're fatigue all the time, you have no sex drive, you're irritable and your hair is falling out. You've been to a few doctors and they've all ran tests, but everything comes back normal. They tell you that it's all in your head or that you're just adjusting to a new chapter in your life. But you know something is wrong, so you keep looking for answers. Finally, you find a doctor who runs some more tests and finds that your hormones are out of whack. Based on a personalized medical plan, Dr. Porrata may start you on hormone therapy and within a few weeks, you feel like yourself again.
Do you sell supplments at your medical office?

Do you offer laboratory work and diagnostic testing?
At Lifestyle MD Specialists of Palm Beach, we do coordinate laboratory work and diagnostic testing. As a courtesy to our members, we will provide you with the necessary paperwork for your health insurance for coverage.

Do you accept health insurance?
We do not participate in any insurance programs, however, at your request, we can provide documentation that includes appropriate diagnosis codes and shows you that you have paid in full, so you can submit a claim for reimbursement. We do not submit claims to your insurance.
Do I have to be a concierge member in order to receive IV Therapy?
We do offer a separate membership for IV therapies only. Please ask our care navigator for more information. You can request a list of IV therapy treatments available and make your appointment.
